Hi! I’m Jamia — but you can call me Mia.

I’m the multi-hyphenate creative behind Digital GraphX.

My journey into design and marketing didn’t start with a logo — it started with strategy. While earning my degree in Public Relations from Morgan State University, I learned how to build comprehensive campaigns, craft clear messaging, and develop marketing strategies that actually connect with people.

During that time, I had the opportunity to work as a Beauty Marketing Intern with SheaMoisture — an experience that quickly turned into a career opportunity and gave me a real look into what it takes to build impactful brand campaigns.

But my path didn’t stop there.

​

I later became a salon owner, wearing multiple hats as a makeup artist, hairstylist, and the person responsible for all marketing and promotions for my business. That experience changed everything for me. I understood firsthand what it felt like to be a business owner who needed professional marketing — but didn’t always have the resources to hire a full agency.

So I got creative.

​

I taught myself how to design professional graphics using Canva so I could market my own business effectively. What started as a necessity quickly turned into a skill — and eventually a passion. Before long, other entrepreneurs began asking for help with their graphics, branding, and marketing materials.

That’s how Digital GraphX was born.

Since launching in 2021, I’ve helped 500+ businesses transform their ideas into impactful visuals and strategic campaigns that drive real results.
